I just finished painting them both over the 4th weekend.
What do ya think? The last time I asked anyone what they thought of my work, they said " not bad if you were a young-blood".
by the way I'm 45.

Looking good! The only thing that distracts me a little bit is the teal on the weapons. I can't quite nail down why, it's something instinctual that I can't convey (I think it may be the different tones of blue)...but I think I see a way around it. Have you ever tried source lighting? I think if a bit off that teal reflects or 'glows' from the weapons it would tie it together nicely.
Again, these models look great and what I suggested would just be a way to take it to the next level. Bravo, Old Codger!

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness. ADB |

Is that greenstuff facial hair on the Librarian or is the the bearded face from the old Inquisitor model? Either way, I dig it. Nice!

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack |

Vespasian - I think they look pretty good; I am sure they also look better in real life.
I would agree with Dez about the weapons...I think Blue/Teal weapons makes the models too blue - I am no artist so I am not sure if this has a special name, it just seems like a lot of blue to me.
Also, you haven't put any writing on the Librarian's banner or book on the leg...I am not sure if you intend to leave these blank or not.
Finally, I feel that there is really nothing separating the armor plates - like black lining. I think if you try this it would really bring out the details.
Again, just my opinion - overall I think they are very good. I also agree about the librarians face - I really like the bearded face.

Thank you all for the kind comments.
The teal is a theme for my army,as well as the white left shoulder pads.
