This Tau only had one arm, so he makes a good test figure. Does this color scheme work out ok? I've only done basecoat (spray), pants, and wash. Haven't painted any of the lenses or feet (not even sure what color those should be)

For reference, here's what the vehicles look like, so I'm looking for tan and green to be my main colors.

Ok positive first the Hammerhead looks great just great the colors are really dynamic on it , ok now the negative the green on the FW's pants look like greenstuff so the models look incomplete maybe an accent color or a ink or somthing so it looks intentional and not unfinished. Other then that it is very striking keep your works updated would love to see some suits in this scheme.

The Tau Warrior doesn't really match so well.

I'd go with a dark grey undersuit, and a green accent on the big shoulderpad (missing) and the central chest plate.

I agree with JH that the Tau warrior is dull.

Take some of that off white that you have on the vehicle and use it on your troops. Start by painting one of the metal plates on the arms and legs solid. Or the knees/elbows/ hand pads. Leader could have his helmet in that color. Possibly have a rich gold or bronze on the round part near the gun muzzle and his chest center plate.

Bring out the highlights on the wrinkles a little.

Your objective is to take a lighter color and move it across the miniature, so put it in 3-4 places. DOn't go crazy or it will start to look like a clown.

The Green is too vibrant for the tan, I'd go with olive drab or similar hue and consider a martian red markings on the armor. Dark greenyellow markings could work really nicely too.

I like it! The bright green really contrasts and makes the models look awesome!

Yeah, I agree with exocorp - the Tau's armour should be the same colour as the Hammerhead's bone/off-white. As it is, it's a lot darker than the Hammerhead.
