What do ya'll think of my Grave Guard standard bearer? Feedback is really appreciated! Took me almost 2 1/2 hours just to do the banner face. I still need to glue the snow on the base.

It looks very nice, and will definitely stand out. I especially like the shading on the blue trim around the banner -- it gives a very nice attention to detail on a smaller part that a lot of people would overlook when painting ^_^

My center is giving way, my right is in retreat; situation excellent. I shall attack.

Impressive, wish mine were that good!

Only comment for improivement....the black may benefit from a light drybrush of grey. The style is uite realistic, however the black seems a little bold and 'cartoony' and doesn't quite fit in with the supherb paint job detail. It's only a minor thing, the banner looks great!

Looks great! The standard is pimp and the blue cloth on his legs looks great.

I feel that the helm, chest, and shoulder armor fade together with his naturally pale complexion. A different color around his face could really make him younger and take years off his appearance.

Avon humor aside, you could pick out the frame (or lower edge) of his helm and the mail on either side of his face in bronze to enhance the contrast of his face.

And my silly suggestion is that, with a Jolly Roger banner for the undead, I strongly suggest that somewhere in the army, you model up a few piles of actual skulls resting on crossed bones to hold a place of honor next to this banner.

I really like how you did the blue on his robes - very nicely done.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

My girlfirend took the pics for me. The best lighting to use is outside (it was about 5 in the evening or so when these were taken.) Having the camera stable is the most important thing. I will ask her later on and post with more info.
