So I've had this toy on my to do list for years as a conversion and I finally decided to get to work on it. I just wanted some opinions/thoughts/suggestions on the convestion. I have some recent pics but I havent been documenting the whole thing.

So here it is the Trygon in its halfway done glory!

If your looking at this laughing then hey whatever. So my Trygon is a cracked out hydralisk. I'm sure this is Blizzard's worst nightmare for conversions. I wonder if I'm breaking any copyright laws.

As you can see I have him popping out of a tunnel. I think it makes for a dynamic base and gives him a good feel. I've elongated the talons on the arms that came with him they were just way too stuppy. I added some bits from the carnifex box the add spikes to his chest in an attempt to make it look like lines of little legs, the effect kind of fails but at least is break up the outline of the toy so it looks more tyranidie.

I added the extended carapace bitz from several boxes to make a line of armor plates down his tail. I then cut the tail off a little and glued it into the base to make him feel more like he's emerging.

The future for this guy holds a lot more work. My bases are going to have a scrub desert feel with sane and lichen. For him I'm going to add some scrub brushes and collapsed tree that toppeled when he burrowed out and of course some rippers! Not a bad Trygon for putting 0 dollars into it. So.... thoughts?

No copywrite laws in violation by starting a sweet conversion from a toy; unless you plan on mass producing and reselling it. My $.02 would include just armoring it up a little to make it more tyranid-y and rounding off the base. Sweet picture included.

And of course the shameless link to my conversion for some ideas.

Yeah that was my biggest deal with the toy. The chitin on it was too smooth and rounded. Guess I'm going to have to try my hand at sculpting and buy a ton of green stuff.

Heres a scale shot

I think its close to proper scale, but maybe I'm wrong.
