Hello everyone

i fianlly found a decent camera that could take close up pics

i tried to get a close of the head so you can se the glow from the hood but it didnt come out very well

My commander

ok heres my first DKOK squad,
defending a flak 88 but in this case an earthshaker cannon

the camera made the highlights of dirt look very red and distinctive but this isnt the case in real life

I think the death corps colour scheme is kind of bland, its all the same kind of color, and ther eis hardly any real contrast

I personally think that the DC scheme works as I would envision a WWII troop to be dressed in the color of the basic terrain colors though still not in a camo flavor. The marines on the other hand could use a steadier hadn with the paint. They look a lil glopped. Also before you paint file down the seam lines so that paint does not collect in the recesses.

the gaurd look is effective and 'en masse' would be cool. both the gaurd and marines could do with some washes added and you have got to thin your paint to aviod the 'gloopy' look.
but seriously....speaking as someone who hates having to scrape off mould lines but does it anyway it really annoys when the guy you play hasnt bothered.

keep at it

Yeh, inks would be effective at picking out details on those space marines but i do like the muddy, kinda relevently messy style on those imperial guard. good stuff
