Maybe it's me.
I have no idea what you're saying.

What is "roughty?"
What do you mean when you say, "do i have to put them to light?" and "do i have to put them warm or cold?"

Maybe you could post some images of what happened? I can tell it happened while spraying them... but I have no real idea, beyond that. Something about "holes."

San Diego.

It could also be you are spraying too far from your models which can cause some of the paint to dry in mid air and become a rough texture. It could also be a semi clogged spray nozzle, causing larger clumps of paint to come out instead of a fine spray.

clean the models off in soapy water and let them dry, the plastic is still non stick coated, if im right once you spray them it just disperses leaving patches of plastic.

also, once sprayed, keep them in a warm dry place, s this can affec it to.

I know what you mean but I honestly have never had halfords spray dissapate before. But yeah you are right, the easiest thing to do is to make sure you clean the mini first.

I know exactly what your problem is, my suggestion is to shake the hell out of the can. If you are just grabbing it and shaking for a couple of seconds that will not work.

can isnt shaken enough, still needs to mix.
also, make sure its not too cold as the paint starts to bead on the model.

Here's a trick to try..

take the spray can and rather than just shaking it, hold it upright and after shaking it to get the bearing loose, using a stirring motion, get that bearing that sits in the bottom of the can to spin (the motion would be similar to stirring batter for a cake or something like that. Spin the can like this for about 30 seconds to a minute (you might also want to try keeping your primer in a dry warm place). After you do this (this will get all the pigment loose from the bottom of the can) then shake the can for at least 2 minutes.

The problem is that since you live in a cold area, the pigment settles and even when you shake it, it's stuck to the bottom of the can..

I hope that helps.

I suggest shaking the can for 5-8 min on 1st use and then 3-4 min after that i dont have a problem with this method also you could try air brushing on a primer I do that sometimes.

if its soo cold, try wrapping the can in a warm towel for 10 mins 1st.
