Just finished painting my emperor’s children’s sorcerer. My EC where deprived of their HQ after I moved my daemon prince to my Slaanesh daemon army. So I set of to make a lord, but I got sidetracked making this guy. I am coming off a long hiatus from doing any kind of work on miniatures.

The body and head come from a 2nd edition noise marine and a chaos havok marine. The arms are from the chaos marine kit. And the spear came with the steed. The biggest pain was reworking the models legs and the steed’s back so the model appears to be riding the creature.

edit - Here is the lord. Not sure if I should detail the faces on his armor or just leave him as he is.

He really didn’t take that long. I made him over a two day time period. First day I spent about two hours converting him. Then the next day I spent a little over an hour painting him. I might be a little off with the time, as I don’t typically work consistently, I do a little work and then wonder off and do something else. Right now I am working on the lord and will post his image when he is completed.

Nice color scheme MajorSoB, it’s giving me a little bit of a headache looking at their image – but that completely in keeping with the nature of the EC.

All very cool models on this thread.

What kind of squads do you guys plan to run these with?

mmm, I was ecpecting to see a conversion of a steed that was riding a EC sorceror, so that is a shame....

For the sorcerer I imagine that I would keep him near my gun line as a counter assault unit. He would lash away the scary monsters and lash closer units I want to assault to blow away with sonic firepower. When the close combat characters get close to my troops I would introduce them to an initiative 6 force weapon. All my noise marines are in squads of six – the sorcerer would hang out with one of them.
