Hi All,

thanks in advance for reading this small blog. I will be using this to try and make some headway in painting and building...

The list will be roughly:

Warboss on bike
Mek with kff
4 troops (11 orkboys with a nob with PK and Bosspole)
1 troop (18 boys with nob with PK and Bosspole)
2 skorchas
3 deathkoptas
1 battlewagon

then I will try and add exchange units (nobs on bikes etc)...

Work so far has been:
Warboss on bike: Build and painting started. Need to finish to redo the boss and the bike needs work. The driver is finished
mekboy with KFF: bought, will be stock mek with KFF
2 troops of trukk-shootaboys: build, 1 painted
2 troops of trukk-sluggaboys: build, 1 painted
1 troop of 19 orks (for battlewagon): to be build. will be mostly blackreach orks
4 trukks: 1 has a body and needs detailing (complete scratchbuilt), the rest have yet to be started.
1 battlewagon: need to find a body from which to work. Am thinking of a Trukk-model (ala mad max or Doomsday), but need to find a proper one..
2 skorcha's: nothing done yet
3Deathkopta's: the Black reach ones. I clicked them together but they need cleanup...

That is about it for now...

The paintscheme will be rather quick and simple, as I want a Tabletop army within a reasonable time (like a half year). What I am doing is:

skin:
- orkhide green
- knarloc green
- Gretchin green
- For the nobs I am still thinking if I will wash the skin with Thraka green. Should I do it or not??

Clothes:
- will vary. I will have the squads differentiated trough the clothes. some will be more snakebite, some more red-sunz etc... The only thing I know is That the clothes will be washed with the gw washes, as will all the metal.

Here are a few teaser shots, I will take more pics when I have a Chance...

Editted for spelling...

The box of orks. Incl the trukk and boss models.

The nob of Boys 1. First time I used the washes. I think it looks good...

The back of the nob. I really like how the metal comes out after a wash...

That´s a very nive start. Nob looks good, and a bit battle worn.

Those washes are truly great stuff.

A very consistent build and paint so far.

It really amazes me how well the new washes work for just about everyone. I'll be making good use of them with my Ork Warband from AoBR. This just helps feed the fires of the Waaagh ^_-.

I really like the conversions that you've made with tha' Nobz.
Good colors as well. How do you make the skin so "murky" or whatever that can be called? It's really nice.

it is a combination of skill (or lack thereoff) and the right colourcombo. I do not really thin the paints much. It gets a bit chunky because of that sometimes. (Don't know what you meant exactly with murky...)

At least glad you like and hopefully I can give an update in the weekend... (I am working on another truck based ond an oop Rhino and sentinel cabine. Also want to do paint the rest of my warboss and the koptas from AOBR)
