I realised last night after a long talk with M that I had been letting my conversion work suffer by spending too much of my time on other aspects of my business...

So, in an effort to get myself a little more motivated again, I threw together the start of a few little conversions this morning, and I'm chucking them up on the interwebz in an attempt to shame myself into getting them finished in some sort of reasonable time.

Oooooh, yeaaaaah! Can't wait to see the Ewok army get rocked by the IG.

Greaaaaaaaaaat...now I have the stupid "nyub nyub" song stuck in my head.

Conversions look top notch so far, especially interested in how those legion marines turn out.

Liking the Ewok, man.

You need to create a few, in pieces, cast them all, and assemble an Ewok army... and use the Chaos rules for them! LOL

He turned out a little lanky... I'll have to use a shorter armature for the next one. Reasonably happy with how his face turned out, although there's something just not quite right about the head in general that I can't quite put my finger on. Might just be at least partly that the hood comes too far forwards...

The model originally has a loincloth, so I had to rebuild his groin after cutting it off.

It's just practice, really. I started out just filling gaps, and slowly started trying to do different things with the putty. Each time you try something, it gets a little easier, and a little more polished. Or at least, that's the aim

Great work, as usual. I recently did something similar with a warboss of mine, a coat and a hat, though it doesn't look nearly as good as yours.
