I was wondering if anyone know what to use and how to use to make a decent looking wall or fence. I don't know if this is where I should put it or not though.

Thank for reading!!

Orky walla are easy.
Plasticard copvered in textured masonary paint.
Think rounded edges and butresses. Like a mud hut.

. . .

I'm rather a 40k noob, I don't have anyway to get plasticard <_< And I'm thinking more of a civilized,IG or SM wall.

well for plasti-card buy some dollar store for sale signs. its cheap and works well. for fences, the easiest is to goto a hardware store and look around. gutter guarding works, also look in the plumbing/bathroom stuff. you can find all kinds of metal mesh fence looking things there.

If you are going to cover it anyway just use thick cardboard. It's easy to find and cheep.

Also try this for Imperial style walls

I have "Chain Link" fencing made out of the mesh that came from a bag of fruit at the local store.. I think it was oranges..

1 bag of fruit = a HECK of a lotta fence..

don't know if it would give ANY sort of cover save though..

I took to bits the oil bath element air filter from an old 4 cylinder series land rover... inside is yards and yards of wire mesh. Like, tens of metres... anyway, once all washed in petrol and hung up to dry to clean off the oil, you end up with the perfect chainlink barricade fencing, it's around head height for Orks and Space Marines, can be cut easily etc. Below is a test piece I made, I used sprue to represent uprights and then the chainlink on a small piece of carboard base, with a bit of plaster round the base to represent dirt, a few rocks and bits of gubbins and wreckage...

It's perfect, I'm going to make lots of 6" - 8" sections and then glue sand to the base and spray them all up and drybrush them dirty metallics and mud colours, modular barricade/fencing system!!

If anyone in the uk wants a few feet of this stuff to make a table's width worth of modular fencing themselves let me know and I can easily post some off for a few quid. Alternatively, if you know someone or a scrap yard braking a scabby old land rover, get down there and yoink the air filter, then have fun getting dusgustingly dirty taking it to bits!!
