Subject: painting light bulbs on beacons. How do I make them pop?

I'm looking to paint up some terminator teleport homer/beacons and want to make the light bulbs pop. Any ideas on how to achieve? Like to use yellow or green. Could of sworn I saw somewhere, just don't remember where.
Help me out, pros. Pictures of your suggestions would be a plus.

Scorpion green or golden yellow highlighted with sunburst yellow.
Just make sure you use white as the undercoat.

I primed black.
Will this work? paint white followed by golden yellow, followed by sunburst yellow

What would really make them pop would be a slow blinking LED, but I'm not sure where to start with that. Hmm now I need to make some objectives instead of my neon green plastic ones...

try a deneb stone base coat first. also try painting yellow then a wash with white. stain the surrounding cage with yellow too.
