So I might include WW's in a new army list I'm trying to get going for a successor chapter of the dark angels.Mainly because of the relatively cheap cost and seemingly effectiveness vs infantry. (dont know this yet havent used one)
Is it worth trying to rework the list to get 2 Vindis instead? Or possibly 1 Vindie 1 WW ? I know the range is kinda crappy from a vindie but it wont be the only target of the field and would be accompanied by a LRC +RB's for some extra protection and the stats on the ordinance blast seem hard to ignore.
So basically can a more experienced player [::a few would b nize::] tell me the pros and cons of including each in an army.
I'm trying to go for 1750 points and I can include the army list if it helps..

Thanks in advance

You should probably include it, yeah. But really they're different purpose tanks. Vindicators are front liners which are good for taking out heavily armoured targets, whereas whirlwinds are more for sitting at the back and pounding stuff. What are you anticipating fighting?

Cap'n Gordino's instant grammar guide:
"This is TOO expensive." "I'm going TO the store, TO get some stuff."
"That is THEIR stuff." "THEY'RE crappy converters."
"I put it over THERE." "I'll go to the store THEN."
"He knows better THAN that." "This is NEW." "Most players KNEW that."

Well my friend is putting to together his first ork army (starting from AoBR) and some1 I've just started playing with has been using Sternguard/Kantor/drop pod list.
But I guess I want a nice balanced list for now since I'm fairly new and would hope to try fighting most flavoured armies.
The army can change since I only have the AoBR boxed set at the moment and I'm trying to find a fun army to play that wont always get humped
So this is what I am thinking atm..its 1750 on the noggin
