here is the marshall with big banner.
the emperors champion with small banner.
and two jump pack assault marines. (one in backround of marshall)
the theme is total nut-job zealots/religious army.
i will ally witchhunters and and use one large squad of zealots as troops choice from chapter approved too.
do you guys like the models so far. I love the big beardy manly look of the models so far. in the 41st millenuim men should look like men. not all shaved and pretty, hah.
tell me what you think or if you have cool ideas for modelling this army or even paint schemes. thanks.

its not pink. its dark magenta. shows up as pink in photo because my cellphone takes crappy pics. its p3 muderous magenta, gloss black and p3 rhulic gold. sorry for the bad pics. i got beardy guys from the new plastic warhammer zealots set and the maruaders of chaos set.

Looks good so far! I'm sure you just started these guys and if you need to add depth just let me know..

What would I do at this step--

(for the bearded/pink guy.)

-Jet pack all one color.. with minor detail colors. white rather than gold for that

-drybrush all the black areas with grey, then a black wash.

- I know these are cell phone pix so less detail but the gold rope ends look like bells. Either the paint is too thick or they just need a different process of paint...

-for gold-- base with gold/brown mix. then drybrush with the gold you used to mix previously. then drybrush after that with gold/silver mix. you'll like it

those are bells on the end of a chain!
my main concern is are the color schemes in proper places. like the dark shirts and then magenta main body with gold highlights. are lighter colors better underneath or as highlights. what is the rule using three colors to compliment each other. like i noticed red, orange and black look good as color trio. also i like light blue, yellow, and white. what rules of the color wheel do those trios fall under so i can find similar combinations with completely different spectrum?

here are new pics. sorry still have only a cell phone. hope it gives you guys the idea.
thanks for feedbacks so far.
by the way why would you suggest jump packs look better in single color. it seems they are big enough to show off a dual tone thing.
