Burn them all, in fact, Burn everyone who isn't wearing a red cloak. Drinking, Gambling & Women are sin and abusers should be Burned . The High Priest obviously is the only one allowed to partake in such sin, only to remind himself what the sin is (honest).

So I took a break from building my tables and went on Holiday for a month. I came back and decided to finally paint my new Redemptionist Gang thats been sat in my draw for 12 months. These took a while to paint, much longer than the other Gangs I've done purely because of all the detail on the models. So, here's some pic's . . . . .

WOW! One of the best painted Redemptionist gangs I've seen. Can you tell me how you did the red cloaks and flame details?

The red cloaks were Foundation Red, and then the Yellow Flames painted on with Foundation Yellow. The cloak was then covered in Brown Ink. The Red was then Red Gore, leaving the Brown Ink in the deepest recesses. Red Gore was then mixed with Blood Red, for the next coat, and then followed by Blood red mixed with Blazing Orange, and Blazing Orange for the final higlight. The yellow, was Foundation Yellow, leaving the Brown Ink in the deepest recesses, followed by Golden Yeallow and then Bad Moon Yellow.

The Black cloaks were, black (Believe it or not!) followed by Foundation Granite. The Granite was then mixed with Foundation Gretchin Green until the final highlight was Gretchin Green.

Hmmm, I'm surprised Brown Ink would give you those deep shadows. I figured it was either Black Wash or Tamiya Smoke.

A lot of the deep shadows are an effect of the highlighting.

I think some of the Necromunda models are the best models produced by GW. I'd love to see some rules written to employ some of the Gangs into 40k. I use x2 Gangs of Goliaths and Orlocks as Hive Milita for my Steel Legion army. But you could just see a witch Hunters Army employing the services of a local rabble rousing burn everyone Redemptionist Gang !

Where are the bases from?

Made the bases myself. Just the standard base with some textured plasticard for the Aluminium Step plate, Dress Pin heads for the rivets, and 2mm Plastic Pipe.

I'd love to see rules for these guys incorporated into the new Witch Hunters Codex when it gets done. I like painting unique models, and these Redemptionists are certainly that.

The new Necromunda style models are great for conversion parts hunters, as the weapon sprues that come with the gangs have loads of great weapons on them. The Goliath Heavy Stubber guns look awesome on my Chaos Terminators as Reaper Cannons.
