Does anyone know where I can get a 28mm-scaled dragon skull? I want to affix a dragon head to the top of my Terminator Librarian's armor (overhanging his head a bit; picture space wolves but with a drake instead) Skeletal or fleshy drake heads'd work, I just can't find anything that'd fit that spot. I've tried sculpting one on there, but I just can't get results I like, and searching through the bitz ranges isn't showing me anything useful.

Just thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone had any ideas.

I am working on a Salamanders force, yes, and I'm trying to achieve a Space-Wolf sort of look in terms of adornment, only with lizard parts instead of wolves.

I have looked through the lizardmen line, and with the exception of one or two heads on a banner, it doesn't look too promising. I was hoping to find something a bit more available (i.e., not have to buy an entire box just for that particular part) or cheaper.

Yeah ive got plans in the making for my own salamanders force in the making. And was suggesting the Lizardmen line as thats been the only thing I could think of, and I agree with you nothing really is suitable. My only other thought is plastic little toy lizard or dinos from like a dollar store might work.

That may work, though the one in the giant box is pretty huge if I'm not mistaken.

Still, I wouldn't mind trying to get my hands on one, so I'm sending you a PM, karl.

I know! there was a seperate undead line in warhammer one of the regimens of reknown. it had a bunch of mixed skeleton models in it I think one was a saurus. there is also the ushabti from the tomb kings line. there is a crocodile head on one of them.

The Cursed Company was the name of the group of models.

Another thought is to look outside of GW... and older...

Grenadier used to put out a "Dragon Lords" line of mini.

A few of them can with 2 piece heads... one that I remember was a red dragon. Another was called the "Storm Dragon."

Those might work for what you want.

Ein, see if you can find the old Man-o-war Dark Elf Black Ark. There's was a decently sized skull on the front that would work great(even comes pre-chained!).

That one's too big to go on a terminator model, unless maybe you used it as a huge storm shield. I know someone who used them as replacements for Eldar jetbike canopies.

Good call on the new Cold One Knights plastics.

At $22 a box for 5, that could work for you.

Also, the new Black Ark Corsairs have some interesting cloaks for you to use, I'd think...

Well, there upcoming templeguard for lizardmen in plastic this february(you know the ones with stegadon 'helmets'). That might be a good source of heads. They might however lack proper teeth.

You could totally waste your money and buy a Zacharias the Everliving, and cut off the head of the Zombie Dragon!

Honestly, though, I have no idea. There are really a shortage of "Dragon Skulls" in the Warhammer range. Plenty of Cow/Ram skulls, but not really any Dragon Skulls. I'd say lizardmen are your best bet, but someone already beat me to it.
