At the very beginning I'd like to point out that I'm a newbie. Don't get frustrated I just need help.
I had come up with this crazy idea which maybe could work however I don't really know how that would actualy do.

HQ
-Wazdakka
-Big Mek w/ Shokk Attack Gun

Troops
-12 boyz w/ rokkit (nob w/ pk and bosspole) - trukk red paint job + wrecking ball
-12 boyz w/ rokkit (nob w/ pk and bosspole) - trukk red paint job + wrecking ball

Fast Attack
-20 Stormboyz w/ Zagstruk
-5 Warbikes (nob w/ pk and bosspole)
-5 Warbikes (nob w/ pk and bosspole)
-4 Warbikes <- here would Wazdakka do for a nob

Heavy Sopport
-3 lobbas
-3 lobbas

It's totally wierd because I see that nobody else has actually come near it (or I have missed something)
and I'm really concerned about the lack of big gunz in other lists. Are they worth the points? In this list they
would act together with Big Mek as a means to pound the enemy during first one or two turns to weaken him a bit.
Anti-tank abilities would lie totally in the hands of Big Mek, Wazdakka and all the nobs (plus some minor help of rokkits).
All this is worth 1524 pts. Any suggestions what should I change?

well first off, try to make sure that it is only 1 or 2 points over max. secondly yeas, big guns are not realy worth it as their are much better things to spend your points on, prinipal amung those are troops, your list is seriously lacking troops, sine troops are the only things that can hold objectives you need alot of them, especialy since you are playing orks and you dont have a good save to hide behind, i would recomend dropin the big guns in favour of more mobs of orks. other than that i cant realy help because i am not an ork player but i do likem the mob of 20 storm boyz, assuming that they are acctualy worth it in the first place they look as if they could do some serious dammage

i am multitalented, i can talk and anoy at the smae time

please help this deamon grow into something large

Thanks for the advise. The idea of the stormboyz was to deep strike wherever i feel the assault would lack some power.
The best thing is that they can charge right after deep strike. So i thought it is worth these 325 points. I'll see through my list to see how I can replace the big gunz.
Thanks very much again.

And one question. Does the warbike squad taken from Wazdakka's Da Bike Boss rule as a troop counts as a troop for capturing objectives?

Go with Kormas's advice about more troops. And yes, warbikes with Wazdakka count as troops that can take objectives.

I would also recommend BP and larger bike squads so they don't turn around and run.

Maybe I should reduce the amount of stromboyz then? And maybe merge bikers into less larger mobs? I have some changes done so you can see how it looks now and correct the new list.

HQ
-Wazdakka 180pts
-Big Mek /w Shokk Attack Gun 95pts

Troops
-12 boyz (nob/w pk and bosspole) - trukk red paint job + wreckin ball 162pts
-12 boyz (nob/w pk and bosspole) - trukk red paint job + wreckin ball 162pts
-12 boyz (nob/w pk and bosspole) - trukk 147pts

Fast Attack
-20 stormboyz + zagstruk 325pts
-5 Warbikes (nob w/ pk and bosspole) 165pts
-5 Warbikes (nob w/ pk and bosspole) 165pts
-4 Warbikes 100pts

It adds up to 1501pts now.

Your troops issue is actually just a record keeping problem. Wazdakka let's your bikers act as troops. Right now you could easily have 6 troops. Since you have 4 fast attacks choices listed, I think you know this, but if they aren't in the right categories the people giving you advice might miss it.

Who is the Big Mek going to hang out with? If he's all alone, he'll go down very quickly. You might consider getting him an escort unit.

Good point however I figured that Shokk Attack Gun has such a huge range he can safely operate from behind my lines unless somebody launches a surprise attack towards my rear (deep strike or something).
Not really about the troops thing. From what I remember he allows ONE biker mob to be counted as a troops squad. And in this case it doesn't matter which one is it. As long as I point out before the game starts which one exactly.

he allows any and all bikers to be troops

The rule is Da bike boss and the exact wording is: Wazdakka allows warbiker mobs to be taken as Troop Choices

There is no limit to it and i have seen some really nasty armys because of it. stuff like a completely biker mob. Granted they do poorly against heavy armor they can rip any heavy infantry army to shreds

I would agree though, you will need some sort of escort for your big mek...At least a unit that will stay near him to intercept anything that tries to come after him.

I see. I've mistaken it with the other "Da somethin" which allow only one.
So would you suggest removing one boyz mob and a trukk?
then i would have 5 troop squads and some points to give the Big Mek some escort.
And do you think this would be quite playable and what would be the weak spots of this army?

i think the army could be playable as written but i would suggest that you remove a boy squad and the truck to give some sort of protection to your Big Mek.

As far as weaknesses go, i could see you having issues with some tank heavy army lists because of a lack of anti-tank outside of the shokk attack gun and then claws in CC... I could also see issues fighting things like terminators but most people have some issue with terminators so it isn't as large of a concern.

The main problem armies for you would likely be tau who could shoot you to bits (at least the trukks) before you got to them.

Overall i think that with the bikes, trukks and Stormboyz you should be able to get into combat extremely quickly and do some great damage. In reality though you will have to try the army out for a few games to see if it will work for you because a large part of any ork army is implementation of good tactics.

Thanks for that you were all really helpful. I'm still open to new suggestion though.
I apreciate your help.

You think lootas would do the job protecting Big Mek?

Hello again. I'm still thinking about modifications to have the most fun army for me to play. I was considering lately reducing the amount of stromboyz to 10 (I figured 20 would be rather tough to get them all fighting in CC) and adding 8 kommandos with 2 burnas and Snikrot. Do you think this would work or would they be weaker and not worth it? and im still thinking about that escort for BM. Which units would be most suitable?
