N°2 at my actual conversion plan:

Firesword. SHT on baneblade-chassis with the big brother of the inferno cannon as main gun.

Exchanged the demolisher with another set of heavy bolters and replaced the main weapon with a scratchbuilt Inferno cannon.
The turret got extra barrels (for promethium). Sponsons stay heavy flamer + lascannon.
Could do a total flamer sponson too (with the bitz from the FW stormsword) but i think any SHT needs some AT .

Lascannon Sponsons go regular Inferno Cannons, extra fuel containers ride the skirts.

Just because anyone agrees with anyone, doesn't mean they are correct. Beware the thin line between what is "Correct" and what is "Popular."

I like the idea but I hate the extra junk on the turret, mainly because to my eyes it just doesn't have common sense. I would remove those and add them somewhere else.

The rear tanks (?) added give it a certain Bugs Bunny flair.

I like your other baneblade conversion as well. This one however is really good, the vents where a nice addition to the turret.

I see. Names like this stick forever so I change the turret design before i get famous for fielding "bugs bunny"

Another set of inferno cannons? Nice idea, now ihave to think about 2x or 4x sponsons.

Redone turret: - moved "ammo" tanks to less "bus bunny" comments.
Added front shield (not mounted yet) to clear the path of burning wrecks.
First sponsons done as Inferno/heavy flamer combo, need to place it either in the middle or forward (wit second set of sponsons?).

looks much better, though I would add more detail on the outer tanks. It needs more on where it connects to the turrent, so it doesn't just look like it is glued on

good point on the burninating.

IMHO, some consumate v's would help spruce it up. also consider a large, beefy arm protruding from the turrent.

looks really good. I like sponsons forward for max range. Ever think about doing the plow like below?

The first pics, with the tanks up, were not the best, but the new design, with quadruple tanks behind theturret is great!

Really loving this variant, you might also name it "Firebrand" or "Flamesword" or some such. Play around with combinations.

@Techboss: actually this front-gear on your pic is used to explode mines and i do believe this isn't available in 40k.
may have to stick with "terrain equipment" then.

All my SHT are now named in a "GW-compatible" way, but i'm sure "flamesword" or "firebrand" sound nice too.

Its not so hard to be different when GW gives us only "artillery" SHT using massive shell ammo and a lot of imperial tech is
unused out there awaiting to be implemented.

again trogdor?

Last changes for this day:

-added some cables and pipes to the turret.

I really, really love the new promethium-tank configuration, although I echo the need for a better joining for the outside tanks to the turret. A strip of plasticard with rivets would do fine.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

I am sure just google-ing this poorly drawn legend will get you the video, though

sorry this is completely off topic.

I'm wondering if it wouldn't be worthwhile to move the section holding the turret forward like it is in the Stormlord variant and put the Hellhound fuel parts in the oped compartment? Or would it be to small to work?
