Okay, so it's been probably a year or more since the last time I sat down and painted a model from anyone. GW included. I decided since it's almost 2009 that I'll jump back on the wagon and get my Tharn army for Hordes painted since I'll be playing soon. I get tired very fast when it comes to units, so I figured I would start with my "basic block". I'll paint the following just to make sure I can play a standard game with no bare metal.

What has to be painted

Kromac the Ravenous -
Warpwolf -
Pureblood Warpwolf -

This will be the starting 300pts just to get things going. I'll probably throw in my White Mane just to have a 350pt list. Next I'll paint up my units starting with the largest models (again I get bored, bigger they are, the faster I paint) so the line up should look kinda like this.

Tharn White Mane -
Tharn Ravengers unit -
Tharn Ravengers Shaman -
Tharn Bloodtrackers unit -

So, here's what I have so far. Keep in mind he's just WIP right now. I still have some more highlights to do, the banding, and gold trim on his armor. But this should give you an idea of what the theme is right now.

Okay, this was my first time doing a blog. Does anyone know how to make the images appear without having to download them?

You mean besides uploading them in the DAkka gallery?

A Squeaky Waaagh!!

Camkhieri: "And another very cool thing, my phones predictive text actually gave me chicken as an option after typing robot, how cool is that."'

Meercat: "All eyes turned to the horizon and beheld, in lonely and menacing grandeur, the silhouette of a single Grot robot chicken; a portent of evil days to come."
