yeah, sorry about the long title, but that's what I'm here to post about! this is just an update of our work on our respective army's.

Illeix can fill you in on where his army's going when he can.

Now, I know my guys are melt your-face-off bright, but that's a good thing! all of the other army's are way to dark in my opinion and seem to mush together when next to each other. Also my OSHA guys are bright to give the idea that just because we're in battle, it doesn't mean that we can skip on mandatory safety regulations about the operation of heavy equipment and vehicles! I will be painting safety signs on the units like Termys, Dreadnougts, and the Rhinos' or whatnot I'll eventually add. anyway, that's about all for the updates!

Chocolate chips are like Imperial Guard, you don't measure them, you just keep throwing in more until there is enough.

Certainly a unique looking SM force. I dont think you'll ever forget to activate a unit.

Looks good though.

yeah, actually, at the last game I was at (also my first!), people were joking that the colors should negate cover saves

The camera doesn't really do his army justice, it's much brighter and very visible. The apoc game we were at, he took 50% casualties before his first turn!

My army has since doubled, and I'm not too sure how it'll look when finished (new codex and all)

I love them, they should get better cover saves for blinding their foes!

This made me laugh out loud.

But seriously the guard army is lookin good. The Marine army is unique for sure and a bit comical, but least they're uniform and painted, so kudoos for that.

Oklahoma City, Ok.

my question is can the marines be tank shocked since they're crossing guards?!

seriously unique. like the IG too.

The SM are construction workers, so yes, they can be tank shocked, just not by the Brunhilde, Powerlifter, Land Crawler, Trojan, or Atlas vehicles.
If you try with those, they'll sue.

As for the Guard, I'm currently painting a Chimera and two Leman Russes, after that, I'll finish a few details on my infantry.

pics for both armies will come soon!
