Just like the title says. I'm making an Angron conversion and need suggestions for wings. I'd prefer not to use bloodthirster wings and balrog wings are too big
I was thinking dragon or winged nightmare wings. Any suggestions?

Dont forget Angron is a Daemon Primarch, so hes probably going to be very big. I'd be worried about making him too small really.

Seconded.

Malfred: Terminator Armor has always had room for extra boobage.
Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage.

I am currently working on a angron conversion aswell. I ordered winged nightmare wings for him, and I think they will work well. I converted him out of a Daemon prince model, so he is pretty big.

I am presently working on a Scarbrand conversion and he's bigger than any standard Bloodthirster. Basing him off the LoTR Balrog, so I can only imagine someone who was considered a monster of a primarch would only be that much more massive as a Demon Primarch! Bigger = better, think Forgeworld Bloodthirster size.

What model are you basing Angron on???
That should give us some idea os scale for the wings???
Angron is huge BTW!

Here is an epic scale angron model he is on a regular 25mm base!
As an idea of scale an epic space marine is about the height of his base.

The others are pretty cool too!

I've seen several versions based off of the daemon prince model. I like that because it has the primarch-y size and a daemonic spin

@ alex

using the epic as a referance for size probably isnt very good. just referencing the picture that you posted, angron is the size of a bloodthirster, which has a 40k equivilant, so if using that for scale, angron would be the same size as a bloodthirster

I'm leaning towards the dragon wings. They're plastic so I think it'll bond to the metal well

Yeah, I did kinda realise that. It was more about pointing out the existing GW model to the OP and others if he/she/they havn't seen it before
and also to show the possibilities of scale.
My real point was.... We needed more info from the OP in order to make suggestions.

Now that we know the model...
I used old oop metal serpentine dragon wings on my DP. I think they look good. Good luck finding those!!!
Pics in my gallery.

Zombie dragon wings are suitably chaotic.
