The Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War II Multiplayer Beta is now open to all, worldwide!


The Beta features all four races, five multiplayer maps and Games For Windows LIVE TrueSkill Matchmaking.

How to get started...

1. Open up Steam (if you don't have steam you can download the client and create an account for free at www.steampowered.com)

2. To find the Multiplayer Beta, you can either search inside the games store within Steam, or go to http://store.steampowered.com/app/15660/
Selecting the game on the website will automatically add Dawn of War II to your Steam account.

3. Install the Dawn of War II Beta (it will be added to Steam on January 21st in the "My Games" area as “Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War II – Beta”).

4. Whilst you’re waiting for the Dawn Of War II Beta to install, go to www.gamesforwindows.com to create a free Games For Windows LIVE account.
If you already have an account (either Games For Windows or Xbox Live) you can just log in when you start playing.

Once the Beta has downloaded simply click the "Launch" button in Steam and log into LIVE.
You can then choose a ranked team battle, or host a custom public match online.
