I've never been one to show off my models, but I've been encouraged to post them here, so without further ado I present my Skaven. Any comments welcome. ^^

To start us off with, no skaven army is complete without lots of clanrats! I chose to go for a Dark Angels Green as my core color throughout the army, so here it is in it's most basic form on the first skaven models I ever painted.

I was lucky enough to pick up large amounts of the tin Plague Monks on discount before the plastic ones came out. I used Goblin Green to dry-brush their robes with.

I like to field loads of Plague Cencer Bearers alongside my Plague Monks. These are WIP as I'm working on a new scheme, using sunburst yellow for dry brushing.

Now, I just love the shooting power of the Skaven, so Jezzails are one of my favorite units. I use a Terracotta stripe on ther hoods to distinguish them as belonging to Skryre. I made that decision before reading a lot of fluff about them, so there it is.

Talking about shooting power, I couldn't leave out the Rattling Gun. I remember being very proud of the orbs when I first painted them.

Now for some leaders! My proud Chieftain got a heart on his eyepatch as a joke, but I never removed it, and now it seems to fit somehow. ^^

And last but not least, Gray Seer Thanquol makes an appearance, although I'm mostly using him as a regular gray seer. I'm going to change his fur into a dirty light-gray soon, just haven't had time since I made the decision. The picture is a bit dark, so sorry about that.

Well there they are! Naturally not my entire army, but some select favorites of mine. ^^
I hope you guys like them.

Scene: Skirmish between Clan Scryer and Clan moulder. Scryer player revs up the rattling gun:
*roll* 4, *roll* 1, *roll* 6... pause, consider. Moulder player taunts, *roll* 4! Damn! *roll scatter dice*, *aim directly at scryer warlock engineer,* *hit warlock engineer 15 times.* *Surrender* Ooooh, the beauty of Skaven engineering. =)

Great to see these finally posted Gerbrith!
It's a pleasure to face these Skaven on the battlefield and the paint job and little touches really bring 'em to life!
Can't wait to see more of them! (Like that warp lightning cannon I know you've got charging up somewhere around your sprues!)

For the Horned Rat!

@LunaHound: Yeah, I intend to base them all, though I haven't yet decided on a theme for it.

Thanks for the nice comments people. ^^

I'll try to have some more stuff up soon.

Its good to see a dark army, always felt it was a bit mad to see stinking tunnel dwelling rats in bright colours

they look smelly, nasty and evil so well done

Wow, stunning skaven Gerbrith! I particularly like the rattling gun and plague monks. They look so deliciously nasty.

Looks like there´s still some basing to do though.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

Looks pretty good, but the photos are a bit dark. If you can get some shots in better lighting it would be better appreciated.

Nice to see the old-style plague monks though.

Hehe, well, believe it or not, I was afraid of basing my models at first because for some reason that just seemed so scary or something. In an case, I know that part is missing, and some day soon I shall have a grand day of basing-ness and all shall be well.
Actually, I stole the movement trays fro Pr0t0coN, who made them for his VC army, so I'm not sure if I want the same scheme. I still need to place my army on the map, so to speak, and figure out what sort of season to use, whether to go for flock, sand, the grassy flock stuff or possibly snow. But I will update ya'll soon enough. Actually, considering the comment, I think I'll base what I have before adding more to my army.

As a side note, is "dude" a term used for both guys and gals? Doesn't sound right to be called a dude. ^^

Gender schmender. Unless I know you or have heard you on Ventrilo/Team Speak, you're a guy. But, to answer your question, "dude" is unisex (at least in my repertoire) although it is usually used in a male context.
