Have any of you ever counted a model as having something but don't show it and forget it ingame? I have that problem constantly and im tired of it - which brings me to my first major conversion - putting feeder tendrils on my tyranid Broodlord.

I'm not sure how to do it and that is why im here in the modeling thread. Right now im kinda in the concept stage and i kinda need ideas. If you havent seen my guy here he is with a concept. Constructive critiscism is welcomed here!

Tentacles shouldn't be too hard with GS. If you want them to have little grooves running around them like GW ones that's a little harder, but just straight up tentacles are a piece of cake.

yea and if you wanted to make it extra sweet, you could add some tiny spikes in the ends of the tentacles. Id imagine either the very tips of toothpicks, or something in that neighborhood. Personally if you are going to do it, try and go the extra mile and make them suckers sticking out and ready to......suck i guess

Okay so i think in the first step im going to cut off his tongue and fill his mouth with GS as a base for it, then put in cut up paper clips as guides for the tendrils. Ill see how that works out then get back here when thats done.

The best tentacles GW ever made are (plastic) skaven tails. (Mine were all from Mordheim.)

it's coming out decently. lol, considering it was Lefty here's first time using Green Stuff.

apertures are in place, tentacles may come tomorrow.

Cut off the head and replace it with the plastic Genestealer with feeder tendrils head?

The thing was, he wanted the tentacles splayed out, like the Broodlord is roaring lol.
