Here are a few pictures of my city fight table. Each tile is a 12 x 12 square. After setting it out, I realized that I acutally have too many building tiles and I'm in the process of building more road tiles. The pictures are actually much brighter than they really are.

What'd it look like BEFORE the war? That's what I wanna know... (And does it come in shades of 'Iron Kingdoms'? lol)

Also, where's the sports arena? Can't have a real city without one of those. (and it makes for a great landing zone.)

Very nice. I am building a modular cityfight table that is currently 4x8 and I have been contemplating if I want to expand from there. How difficult is it to play on 12x6? I would guess it is difficult to reach the center over the buildings.

I have a sudden urge to build a blood bowl stadium for fighting W40K games around.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Have you considered making larger joined sections?

A 2x2 industrial complex, for example?

@ptlangey
I'm 6 feet tall and the guys I game with are at least 6 feet tall as well. Six feet wide is as wide as I would go. We can reach the middle without really straining.

@Jamunition
This is really the third incarnation of the board. The buildings have been added to over the last two years. But I never really got serious about getting them all painted and the tiles made and based as well until this summer. I would say about 3 months of work this summer.

@ Stretch
Just guessing, but I would say 3 Imperial Cities and about 6 Sectors.

@ Malfred
One of the factories in infact two board joined for a 1 x 2 building.

If I could do things over, I wouldn't constrain myself to 12 inch tiles. I also would have done it all at once instead of over time. So if anyone wants to buy it from me, I can use to money to finance another one!

Playability. It's much easier to move things around in ruins than nice buildings. Plus there were no rules for nice buildings until 5th edition.
