After losing my thread in the P&M Blogs section i'm going to start again. Over the last few weeks I've been very relaxed and haven't done a single miniature. So after many long nights staring at my mountain of stuff I'm finally going to start the endless task which is our hobby. I am relying on you Dakkaites to keep me motivated so to start with My endless ideas.

Right, These are the first Blood Brothers, my DIY SM chapter. At the minute I have the SM battleforce, another box of scouts, a jump pack chaplain, a sternguard squad, an attack bike, a captain and command squad and my chapter master. I'm going to build the 2nd company with elements of the 1st, 5th, 6th, 8th and 10th.

My advice is...
Helmet, grey Hard Edge Highlights will fix
and as for the red face grill BIG nono  make it metallic
For the armour, use a wash of either red, brown or a mix of the two, you have no excuse not to do this as I boutght your bro the washes for xmas! Follow this up with a red hard edge highlight
aside from that, everything else is OK
