Ok like many of the other Ork players I want to make a super badass Warboss for my Orks. The typical, huge and supremely killy. Now I have a cool idea in my brain for the bosses head. I want to use Thrakas torso for obvious reaosn and I was wonder just HOW small the AOBR bosses head would look on thrakas body. Anyone out there have a picture of the two minis next to one another so I can compair the size difference side by side? Ive looked on google and other places but cant seem to find any pics of the two next to each other.
BASICALLY what my plan is, I want to make my boss out of Thraka, and use the head from the AOBR warboss. I want to completely cut the lower jaw off, and then make the whole bottom screaming part from scratch. giving it that super sweet ROBOT Ork metal deal going on. You know with hydrolics and wires and the works for the lower jaw. And seeing as the boss from AOBR has a huge screaming head, Im hoping that works.

its hard to say. I have seen both models played in the same army but never really took the time to compare their respective head sizes. I imagine it might fit because gazguls head looks to be about the same as a normal ork head. But i really can't be certain.

Heres a picture of them side by side. I didnt think so when I thought about it but the heads should swap freely.

Sadly I to not have a thraka model any more, but I used the old metal hive tyrant head with the mandibles cut off. With a Gob you could hardly tell it was a tyranid head. The heads should swap freely though especially if you're going to slap a huge bonic jaw on it.

I know its only been 1 day but its been running around in my head and driving me insane! Perfect those heads will swap perfectly, god I love the AOBR boss such a big fella. Thanks a million for the pics and tips.
Also I bet the nid head would of looked pretty cool, deff. a squig brain transplant
