Found this model a few years ago for 2.5 euro's in a small hobbys shop in germany.
Picked it up gether with a friend and we needed "Paper scissors and stone" who would get it.
Always go for stone

, never fails.
I was still aboard a belgian navy ship so mini disapeard in my hobby box.

Last year in march when i was in "Plymouth" England.
Greetz to the GWshop mananger's and crew
And painted this miniature in 2days.

Snow effect on the base

After models bin painted.
Then make a wash from skull white and streqk the parts you want to put the snow.
It give's that white frost effect underneath the snow.
Then put first layer of pva glue. you don't need to put alot just a fine layer.
Leave it to dry out completely. you'll get a glassy effect.
After wards apply layer pva glue and flok with snowflok.
Depending how thick your snow has to be, repeat layers from pva ans snowflok.

I'm not a fan of the straight bolter arm - it looks really unnatural. But that's also the sculpt, so it's certainly your fault, Typhoon. It's funny, though, that the paint job makes it look so good that it really makes awkward sculpt posing stand out.
