Battlewagon Driver with Charged Engine

I'm making a chaos dreadnought, but the model which gw sells look insanely stupid as well as space marine equavalent (oh hell lets admit it THEY LOOK LIKE F*****N MAILBOXES). After a while got an idea to use penitent engine for the job. It looks cool and its agility fits well in my slaanesh army
thing I would like to know anout petinent engine
1. is it platic model?
2. How big it is?
3. what kind of parts it includes?
I'm also interested about buying single parts like heads, but I dont know where to get them (There are battlewagon and bitzbox but are these places reliable?)
Here's some consept art:

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.
If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in. |

It is a great pile of metal of a model, about the same size as space marine dreadnought. I don't know about parts, hope that someone else knows more about that.

Isn't resin just as bad? I mean, you still have to use that glue, which instantly bonds to skin but takes forever for anything else.
I suggest you dig through your bitz box and break out the green stuff. Have you ever bought spawn or possessed? They have great parts for conversions.
BTW, if you hate the GW dreads, what do you expect a dread to look like?

Dreads look okay in my opinion. But their looks could be improved so I'm interested to see this unfold.

That gives me a great idea... they should just make models out of skin.
It would be really easy to cut and glue. Some parts of models wouldn't even need to be painted!

FW's dreads look a lot better compared to the GW ones (they cost a bit), but they are still boxy and I want my dread look like an agile cc beast. Also with a closed box you cant really see the driver and feel it's anger and pain.

The plus side is its a lot lighter so the strain on the joints is a lot less. Ive made 3 FW dreads and all have remained in one piece through many years of gaming whereas my pinned, glued Penitent keeps on trying to destroy its self - evil model.

I was also wondering how to add heavy weapons (like multi melta and plasmacannon) to the dread, but I dont want to lose any of those fierce cc arms penitent engine has. Maybe optonal weapons can be added on top the the "driver" by magnets?
