The ruins of the Palace of Thorns

So, I am about to complete my acquisition of 10 Ghost Warrior models, but I can't decide what they should "count-as" to actually make use of them.

Wraithlocks? Dead warlocks who have been implanted in fragile wraithbone skeletons so as to not interfere with their psychic abilties?
Ghost Scorpions? Infiltratey Wraithguard, recently deceased or never-been-in-the-wraithbone-core, so not suffering from Wraithsight?
Shadow Harlequins? Harlequins who, for some reason, have decided not to join with the Laughing God yet?
Wraithguard? Suspiciously small wraithguard who, for some reason, still take two spaces in transports?
Spectral Guardians? Dead Altansar Guardians who have been implanted in unusually fragile wraithbone skeletons?

Any other suggestions?

They are just short for that. Perhaps you could mount them higher. Be creative.

I think they'd go well as a spirit seer upgrade to a wraithguard unit.

Ghost Scorpions- I can almost see it. Add a blde to one of the fists and it might cut it.

Shadow Harlequins- I can't see them flipping about or taking part in the dances at the craftworld opera.

Wraithguard- I don't care for it as they're too small vs. the actual model.

Spectral Guardians- Maybe??

Wraithguard...If you think they are too small, build up their base, and have them standing on something so they are the same height.

I dunno, they all seem kinda iffy, but definitely not wraithguard or harlequins.

it depends on what you wat them to be for games all the above are fair suggestions but maybe it could vary game to game?

I would say that if you have a lot of other guardians, especially storm guardians, 'seed' them into the guardian squads. Your spectral guardian idea is pretty much right on.

If you are taking any of the Eldar Artillery, they would also do well as the crew.

If you don't have many other striking scorpions in your list then they would work well in that role. They are the right size and they are clearly armed with a CC weapon.

I'd take them as 'counts as' Wraithguard.
Interesting models.

Make them wraithlock(Spiritseers). Makes them complimentary to the Wraithguard squad. Makes me almost sad that I traded my 4 plus $80 for a Barracuda and 2HH. I said almost.

Size difference or not, they just look like really cool unique Wraithguard. They would look fine as long as you base them well and keep them in the colour scheme.

Lots of ideas there. What I might do is base them fairly high, then I can use them as Wraithguard or Wraithlocks as the mood takes me.

Depends on what is in the rest of your army really. If you are doing Iyanden heavy, and already have alot of wraithguard, those "ghost warriors" would make unique "guardians" (since Iyanden are already low on peeps) or "wraithlocks" to command the wraithguard but then you can only use a couple if you aren't running a big warlock squad.

If you aren't doing Iyanden and don't already have wraithguard, then use them as wraithguard.
