This was converted from a standard Chimera, as i wanted a Griffen for my IG COD army!! I mean 85 pnts or something plus the different shells!!! who wouldnt want one!!!!

Im new at painting, so dont expect much. But in case your wondering its painted grey, as the South African Navy paints all urban vehicles in the standard tone!!! or at least in Simons Town I saw a Rhatel in grey and it looked sick!! any tips are welcome!!!!

Not to bad for your first conversion

I like this. I'd make some minor modifications to the gun but otherwise it's all good.

Give it some washes and weathering. When I first looked at it, I thought it hadn't been painted yet.

Get some Badab Black, water it down a bit, and wash the whole tank with it. This will pick out all the details and provide shading. Then, go back and reapply the base color, leaving the shading in the recesses (and around rivets, in panel lines, etc.)

The model looks very interesting and the primary cannon is certainly intimidating.

/agree w/blue - a couple washes and weathering would really make it seem finished

I like it. My only suggestion is to do something with the lasgun ports, which is the same problem I have everytime I convert a standard chimera.

Looks really good. I might take some inspiration from here. But as said, give it a wash. That and the lasgun ports.

That's a pretty awesome conversion, man. I'd also like to hear what you did. It looks like you're using a standard LRBT cannon barrel, a Chimera turret, an Apocalypse sprue vox, and a stowage barrel. What're the legs on the mortar barrel, though? Nice stuff!

The barreel is from a LRBT. while the legs are from a left over dozer sprue. Right now im working on another conversion but will keep you peeps posted!!!!! Shot for the responses!!!!!
