Lastest model I've painted up for Ebay. This really is a detailed model. Its 100% metal, so the chapter Banner is quite easy to paint. Its a shame they don't do Chapter Baners in metal for all the popular chapters. Anyways, The armour has been painted Foundation Blue, Inkwashed, then Foundation Blue again, mixing with white for the progressive highlites (7 layers in total). The red is Foundation Red, inkwashed Brown, highlighted up to a mix of Blazing Orange and Blood Red. The Gold is Tin Bitz, Shining Gold, Burnished Gold and finally Mythril Silver for the Extremes. The base has been made from some Imperial City parts Plasicard, gravel, for an Urban Rubble Theme. I've also put some bits of a Chaos Space Marine into the base. Any comments are always welcome, high bids on the Ebay auction are even more welcome

This was about a weeks worth of spare time to paint this. The old Baners were hard to do because you had to draw the picture (something I'm usless at), whereas this one its all 3D in the mould, even down to the checker pattern and the patterns at the bottom of the banner. Its also (apart from the Sword & Backpack) 100% complete model, so no pining is necessary.

On a lighter note, the weathers good for this weekend, and I'm off to the Welsh Mountains for 5 days climbing.
