I have mixed feelings about the horses. Maybe something to make them fit into the 40k universe like tubing, beefed up robotic servo assisted legs because I think SM's in general weight a lot. Just my opinion though.

I know that paint will be able to carry these models alot further but I have some suggestions if
you fancy listening......

For the steeds:
I like the idea of servos, bionic eyes, pipes, tubes, wires and more tech to bring them into the 40K world.
It works for the soul grinder model.
If you really do see them as purely daemonic rather than bionic or mechanically assisted I
would suggest modeling flames, bloated stomachs, entrails, deformities, mutations etc.
A combination of nurgleisation and bionics would be amazing!

For the riders:
I would also suggest some level of nurgleisation on the riders aswell. They look a little clean.
The old coarse sand trick might be just enough.
I'd like to see them holding on to something. Some chains/reigns would help the two models mate a little better.
I find it hard that Nurgle of all the gods would have the expert balance needed to
ride and fight without some control of the steed.

I don't think the steeds really need any bionic bits or anything, but I do think they could use some more corrosion or slime or something.

Currently they don't really have anything that defines them as daemons and not just a bunch of horses.

as i said my next squad will have alot of gs
