Right, having given up trying to think of a witty name for my craftworld, i have decided to follow Kurt Cobain's example and simply rip off the pixies.

I will try to put up a blog next week when, hopefully, i'll have better pictures. I have chosen bone and gold as the two main colours for the scheme, mainly because it lets me work other, colder colours into different units without having to worry about them contrasting too harshly -plus this lets me use the brighter colous for my aspect warriors.

Anyway, here is the first warwalker of 6 to be built and painted (excepting the ends of the scatter lasers -England actually won a game of cricket and i had to get some cider in to celebrate).

From what I can tell, nicely done. Is that windshield (is that what they call it?) tinted purple?

Wouldn't mind better quality pics, though...

Yep, the transparent bit was given about 6 coats of thinned down purple wash on the inside. I tried to put it on the outside first but it gave a really opaque finish; putting it on the inside maintains the translucency!

That's a fantastic tip on the windows. I'll have to remember that if I ever
work on warwalkers.
