Thanks for the kind words guys!

I got everything assembled and primed today and had a couple hours left over so I did the banner for the avatar. I still need to add the rust like the other banners, but I am going to wait until the end because it gets all over the place.

I switched the placement of the colors to help make the avatar stand out.

Tomorrow is going to be either the rest of the avatar or the pathfinders. I havent decided yet.

Oh my lord.

Your palette choices and textures are amazing. And those banners are simply beautiful. Brilliant work.

Can't say I can back you up on the weapon loadouts for the WLs, though. Scatterlaser and shuriken cannon? The rest of your army must be packing a ton of anti-armor power, or you know something about foot Eldar firepower that I don't.

I really can't wait to see the troops. Subbed!

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Very, very nice paint job. I can say i'm always pleased to your work. I know the guy how has the PM army that you painted, and it is nicely done.

There should be two hits: You hittin' them and them hittin' the friggin' floor

Peace out!

Lovely work! I don't like the banners, but the shades and otherworldly feel of this work is very interesting.

I'm pretty excited to see more progress on this army. I can't wait to see the foot troops. I've been pointing folks to the pics of your Wraithlords as an example of how to paint a gritty, combat-weathered Eldar army rather than all the nice, shiny, just-off-the-assembly-line Eldar armor we usually see.

Pretty productive today. Painted the ten pathfinders:

Also here are the harlies:

Cant really tell whats going on but you get the idea.

Also painted the avatars base and rebasecoated him. Im painting him tomorrow.

As a note the pathfinders are going to vary pretty far from the rest of the foot troops. This is the only unit that (harlies might get a bit) will have the ultramarines blue. Their camo is to blend in, and you will see why when the display board is done, its basically the wraithlord bases x100. It has a ton of ripped up UM stuff on it.

You are probably one of the best tabletop-ready painters I have ever seen.

Some of the Golden Demon stuff is unreal, but in terms of factory like-consistentency and the incredible standard, your stuff is a real treat to look at!

Have you taken top prize for painting at any tourneys yet?

Havent really played tournies until now. Adepticon will be my first time leaving the state to play 40k. I have played in RTTs in state but its been a while.

Just wanted to give some encouragement to this project. Really stellar work. I absolutely love the stylized female faces!

The muted palette is also incredible. It's one thing to know how to select a muted palette, but it's another to apply it so consistently.

Awesome stuff!

I love the pathfinders. The rust effects (on them, but throughout the army) are terrific. The blending on the white helmet is great, as well. You know, I was going to compliment you on the dirty snow bases until I realized something...

Okay, I like the look of the patchy snow - that's really cool. But (and this is from a guy who spent his formative years in the snow in Montana, so this is a really nit-picky comment) if you're trying to depict a scene that takes place after a long winter and the snow is finally melting, the snow will look a lot different than if you're trying to make it look like it snowed last night and is melting off in the heat of the day. If you're going for melting fresh-fallen snow, then you've got the look down. But if you're going for old, winter-is-over-and-the-snow-is-finally-melting snow, it needs to be streaked with some black and brown - particularly in a muddy environment like that.

(I'm trying to take a hint from Migsula's recent discussion and trying to provide some critical feedback rather than my standard "Dood, that's kewl!" comment.)

Amazing work, both on colors, blending, and the banners. Not sure how cloth and such is getting rusty, but I like the look.

I don't think it's rust, I think it's dirt and grime.

I am amazed that you can get such a clean paint job, with such a dirty coating, I have such a hard time mixing the styles. I am not really liking the poses of the Harlies, but I am hoping that the paint will make them feel more even. They seem to be really unbalanced, I think it is the lack of bend in the knees. Don't get me wrong, your stuff is amazing, just trying to be helpful.

DbM - Eldar are magical and stuff.

Tzeentchling - Eldar are magical and stuff.

Seriously, I dunno either, I just like the look of it Yes the cloth is rusting. It has the same chipped paint effect as the bases.

Lyquis - Thanks a lot! The harlies will look better painted. The monochrome makes them look very flat. Just wait!

Update in a minute.
