Always had a soft spot for the xenos hunters, some sharp lookin' kit. Is that the first Sicarius that you've used for the captain?

Yup, i wanted a CC squad, so i decided on a Pair of Lightning Claws on the captain. So i looked at the boxed set first when i suddenly remebered the awesome old Sicarius model

They are still very much WIP but i'll get em done within the month

Okay so four guys from the squad are pretty much done... only thing left is the purity seals and a transfer on one of the shoulderpads... and eventually names on them to make em a bit more personal. Suggestions are welcome

Space Wolf, Red Templar, Imperial Fist and White Scar

And Fuegan that i painted for a friend

5 fellas left to do, halfway atm but you will see Marines from such esteemed chapters as: Dark Angels, Black Templars, Blood Ravens and eventually Crimson Fists.

Fuegans armour looks amazing!
allthough the head and gun seem a little out of place, other than that its amazing.

your one of the 1st people ive seem that have actually bothered to show that deathwatch are not thier own chapter, but instead a mix of different chapters
nice solid scheme, i like it.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

Got three more Death Watch "finished" today.

Ran out of powerweapons when i modelled them so the Blood Raven got a Chainsword but i painted the teeth powerweapon-ish
Had to use the flash cause its pretty dark outside therefore the highlights looks like its from the movie Tron :(

Dark Angel, Salamander and Blood Raven

Still have some stuff to do on these, like purity seals and stuff i noticed that ive missed when i took the pictures.

How i painted the face?
And here i was pissed cause i thought the face looked frakked

All i did was Black Undercoat > Dark Flesh > Thin layer of dwarf flesh > A coat of Devlan Mud > Drybrushed elf flesh with an old brush (almost no paint on the brush and did this over and over until it looked decent) > two white dots as eyes > and finaly i cheated and used a thin thin filter marker to make the black dots inside the white

For the scroll i painted it Scorched Brown > Drybrushed it up with bleached bone > filled in the recesses with Brown ink > and had another go with Bleached Bone drybrush

Hehe thanks!, i actually had no idea what i was doin when i painted him (don't know much about eldar). All i knew was what my friend told me about Fuegan being the Fire Dragons "God" or something similar, so i figured that his armor should be orange-ish hehe.

Had no idea what to about the helmet and weapon tbh, so i went with something that might break off from all the orange

Thanks man!

Hmm the pdf is a bit out of date, but with your opponents consent i cant see why, if you went through and made them i would certainly let you play them.
I did these just counter the "cheesyness" of our opponents in Apocalypse so i made a Apoc Datasheet for them.

Same stats as the pdf, fearless, hellfire bolts. something like that

Dude, this is groundbreaking! I really like that they're different chapters working under one banner, the "tron effect" makes them pop! REALLY digging these

After a few days off, i finally sat down to finish the two remaing squad members. It turned out to be a pain finishing them, firstly i didnt have any Necron Abyss to paint the Crimson Fist so i had to improvise by mixing Enchanted Blue with Chaos Black... turned out ok in the end =)
Second problem was the transfers... jeez! Almost impossible to make em stick to a non flat surface... atleast they are semi-attached but my guess is that they will be gone by the time our Apoc game is over.
And finally i couldnt find a Space Wolves transfer so i actually had to try and freehand it with chaos black... not my cup of tea as it turned out.

Without further delay here they are, The Ordo Xenos Deathwatch!

Black Templar and Crimson Fist (Note the semi-attached transfers )

Same guys different angle

The full squad

All the chapters under one banner (Note the failed Space Wolf insignia )

Now i have some weird idea that i dont base my 40k models, only my WHFB figures... but i might actually base these guys since they are somewhat special hehe.
Anyone have any idea on how i should base them please tell me.

Thats it for this time, i might post some images of our Apoc game and tell you how these guys made it =)

ok thanks, very nice, the space wolf insgina isnt too bad, i have seen worse, an idea is too use the basing kit (is it still avaliable cause i thought it was only a limited time thing) at $22 australian so i cant help, there could be a guide on the net! U could use anything from small flatish rocks to raise them up a bit to make them more imposing and add some stuff on the bottom to make it look better, there is more but i cant think of any at the moment!

I really like how you separated the Chapter iconography. It is much more defining then what is usually done with Deathwatch. Very good stuff!

This is a fun army to do cause it lets you mess with all the chapters .

What do you have in mind for bases ?
