Started my sergeant for the tactical squad of Eagle Warriors i'm working on. Looking for some feedback to make sure that I have the colors correct and that they are appealing to the eye. For some strange reason I decided to magnetize him (I guess i'm too lazy to paint 14 different varieties of Serg for whatever strikes my mood) and it has worked out beautifully. I'll post some more pics as he gets finished.

That is a very neat and clean look. I really like it.

I've been on the fence about doing a halved marine army, with one half being white.

Can you describe how you painted this up (on both the white and blue sides), and how you got the black lining to look so crisp.

White prime? Black? Etc. Much appreciated.

My painting technique is NOT a fast one...but I do believe that the overall look comes out...well clean, crisp, and even. I start by priming black. For the white I painted a layer of Foundations Astronomican Grey. I make sure to only paint where I want the white to be....so thus I leave the black lining as the primer coat....a VERY tedious and long process. This particular model took me almost 3 hours to get to the stage he is at in the picture. Then I painted several layers (3 I think) of watered down skull white. The trick that I have found is to let the paint dry before attempting the next coat.

There is a dreadnought in the future for this army....2 in fact. Ideally i'd like to do an entire company, I have the models, it just really depends on my patience...lol...thanx for the comments.

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.

Assasin: LOL...i'm not sure...haven't played a game with them yet (seeing is how this is the first model to be painted in the army)....but i'll let you know once I have played against a force of chaos.
