Hey guys, I am looking at scratch building some stompa varients, and I was wondering what the dimensions (height/diameter) of the official GW ones are. I did a search and saw people bulding their own from 10"-12" tall, but no diameters listed, and I want mine to be as close to the "official" size as possible

I don't have one, but I'd confidently say it's easily eight inches across at the base

Ok, let me be more specific....

Would someone who actually owns the GW model please post the height and diameter? I would like to begin purchasing the materials I need for the project

Gee whiz, its an ork vehicle. It doesn't have to be the exact shape and size of everyone else's.

Im with no such luck on that one. Im sure you want it as close to the original so you dont get hosed for making it bigger or smaller..... BUT its an Ork vehicle so make it to a size of your liking.
Ive seen them in person and I think Luck is pretty close on his guess too. They are wide!

The guy who's making a Stompa formation on the other thread said the Stompas were "like" 8 inches tall from the bottom of the skirt to the top of the head and "like" 7" from front to back on the bottom of the skirt and progressively narrow to the top. It's also narrower from left to right.

I got out my handy dandy tape measure and verified that Mr. Potatohead will make a useful contribution to my Ork army in the near future.

Yea i just went and measured mine.

Its:
9.5 " from the floor to horn tips
smoke stacks highest point at 11"
7" at the bases widest
20-22" around the stompas skirt/base
6" wide at shoulders

Damn stompa, you scary!
