Nice work, I really like the color combination. It gives the figures a real world look, but still adds character to the figures. Keep it up.

At first I thought you were making thunderbirds but that is something else of course.

These look really nice. Maybe you should paint some freehand lightning strikes on the shoulder pads. If you decide against it, they still look striking and interesting.

Heh really like the fact you've gone for metallics on the marines and normal equivalent colours on the Scouts. Really ties them in and marks out the power armour. It also makes the scouts look scouty as they look to be in vaguely urban camo.

cool apoc but i dont like the scouts. the greenstuff is far to clumpy. also you need to remove the finger prints on the cloaks and make them square.

I love the mini, :X you should give him a green stuff hood just to be extra fluffy

That apoth needs his shoulder reset. Right now it looks rightly gimped.

I would rework the Greenstuff on your scouts, especially the guy who is supposed to be in Carapace armour. Try and smooth it out more using a small sculpting tool if you can find one. (I find the steel pen nib from etching sets to work well for me.)

i know the cloaks arnt right but when you see them i think they look good

Try rolling out some gs into a flat rough trapazoid (like an uneven rectangle.

Get something like an oven grid and lay the gs cloak shapes on top, lightly forcing the cloaks between the grids - this will create some folds.

Leave it to cure a while and get a little tacky before attaching to your figures. The ideas and guys look good, with slightly more natural looking cloaks they will look great.

ps. also avoid using your fingers as this leaves mean prints, grab your girlfriends / wifes / sisters / moms make up and manicure tools - they work great. If you get in trouble, you didnt get the idea from me!!!!

lol! I like the idea of the gang, but you definitely need to work on your gsing. The guy with the carapace looks like a space marine stripper, who hasn't yet taken off his knee pads . The paint jobs however are amazing! anyway good job, keep it coming.

just a tip... you don't use bayonettes on a shotgun.. why? you'll most likely end up shooting off your bayonette with it... ;P

(slaps head) shotguns need bayonats on them, why..........because they just do.

my weathering is just a drybrush of bleached bone all over the model.

the black stripes are undercoat black foudation from the starter hobby kit.
the yellow is iyandan darksun also from the hobby kit but i think you can get it seperatly.

also ive painted the heavy and stated on plasticard building for my 2x2 =][=munda board. i have also ordered a ten-man cadian shock troops that i hope to use to make a gang. i also have seen a good deal on fleebay for a bag of bitz so ill see how that turns out.

i started work on my plasticard ruins too

OMFG WTF is with that camo! It's mean't to hide you not make you stick out like a tree in a desert! heavy scheme is good but needs some detail (buckle on pistol strap)

the fingerprint texture on the greenstuff cloak looks cool. could be onto something.
