That being said, I'll still give you a 0 if you bring more than 5 eldar skimmers. Don't be that guy.

The ceramic look is nice, but it looks a bit roughly textured. Were you using a brush with splayed or dry bristles. Oh, and you missed a spot at the back of his head.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

yeah, junk brush just like you described. I did this guy in about 15 mins just to get the scheme out of my head. Time for a new main coat brush

It looks good for a start, but you need to think:
How will this look on a monolith?
How will this look on flayed ones?
How will this look on a lord?
Take things like that into consideration.
Otherwise, if you think it will work well, it is a good scheme and I (personally) like it. Although some brown weathering would make him look like he has risen from the sands as a slave of the C'tan.
What basing will you use btw?

no idea on basing. to be honest I've never based a model! painted a few models that probably deserve basing but I just haven't gotten around to caring about basing yet. lol, I have a whole 4000 point IG army that needs basing. I have some convert3d flayed ones that may look pretty nice in this scheme, as the white will give their more 'gory' bits some contrast and a good canvas for some splattery bits. Lord should be pretty far out as well, maybe a red veil on him, I dunno... Monolith I really do not look forward to painting at all but I suppose I can make this scheme work with it.
I don't think i'm going to weather these though. My entire reason for doing them in this way is because I am sick and tired of battered or dirty looking crons! The gauss beam on the gun actually looks bright on this guy and most of the time it seems dull and lifeless on the dingy looking crons I see everywhere.

It looks good. A good change from the standard metal necrons. Two ideas: When you are painting the Monolith, use thin black lines on the white to make it look like marble. That will probably stop the big flat areas looking boring. The gauss pipe looks a bit too bright imho. Not sure how it would work on the battlefield, and how hard it is to find other colours of transparent plastic rod. I imagine it would look good in a red tone. Alternatively use a few thin metal rods to make "lightning arcs" and don't use the rods at all.
Example of red rods:

i like thw red rods idea... dunno how to get em' though. i'll have to look into that. those blue crons make the red rods look awful! (IMO)

I have to say I really like it. Its one of the first necron paint scheme's thats really caught my eye. But I do agree that the green rod doesnt feel like it fits. Maybe a yellow one would suit it better?

Looks like it could use a wash on the feet to add some definition. Overall good job, the rod would definitely look better as red. The back of the head should be brass too, behind his face mask.

Nuclear: Properly pronounced new-clear, not new-cue-lir. There is no 'u' between the c and l, so stop saying it because it just makes you sound like a dumbass. This includes nucleolus, and all other derivatives of the word.
