Here are a few pics of my Nurgle Orks. The model was built up when GW had a promotion during the year of Chaos involving building a squad of chaos mutations using only the contents of pack of plastic sprues. From memory there was an ORK boyz sprue, a catachan sprue and the chaos mutations sprue. The inspiration was simple, orks are green, nurgle is green and so the Nurgle Orks were born when their space hulk, caught in a Warpstorm was invaded by nurgle. He looked and smelled enough like an ork to satisfy any orky misgivings and he promised endless WAAAGH!
The model won me the local competition, I hope you like it.
P.S. yes one of the orks has eight limbs, it was quite a conversion.

Nice work. The Ork with the Zombie legs looks a tad too weird imo, but the rest is pretty cool. I like the front man with the banner the most.

I like the skinny/normal parts being put together. It really gives them that whole mutated look.

ahh the banner, well since you all asked so nicely...This is a technique I have been using for a number of years in a number of applications. You need thick foil (pie tin is good) and you draw with a dead ball point pen with a firm push to distort the alloy, a little at a time until you have your design. work both sides of the foil to sharpen up your lines etc. This also works on alloy soda cans and is great for building vents, glyphs, block and tile work and so many other things. Try it you''l like it.
