OMG!! I WANT IT!!! lol, I'm trying something (similar?) only they still have the armor.... it's hard, since I'm a novice painter

You are doing zombies too? Its pretty easy to do the blood parts , i pour tons of floor wax into my flesh wash
and just apply it on every part where there are supposed to be blood. They smell very good too!

Ig zombies. My most secret, nerdy wish come true. well 2nd actually. But the first is naughty, so I'll keep it to myself.

There's nothing more intimidating than an IG zombie that smells of roses/lemons? haha, and ya, kinda. mine are just like standard guard, with Rotting Flesh skin(I'll prolly add a more 'green' tone later) and I'll be putting some blood effects on the hands and faces whenever I get around to it

Double Face Palm. That is what you made me do.

It is honestly really good, at least by many of dakka dakka's user's standards, which seem to be very low.

It's a zombie. zombies are supposed to look roughed up.

But if you want criticism.. it's too "light/bright" whichever. either way, there's more white than there is green.

if you want to add more to it, have like moss hanging from the gun, put 'mud' in between the bones, and create a ripped up shirt for it, with an IG Eagle emblem lol and scalpel up an empty helmet to custom fit it, with some hardcore pieces missing, and even if you don't go with a ripped tiny-t shirt, you could dig some holes in the pants, and paint them as flesh. and ya....

just my eye for detail speaking out lol and it's a gasmic model regardless

NICE use of the lasgun. This guy is definitely officer material for a zombie army

Luna: Great stuff. Since you want criticism, I can see a mold line on the laspistol arm. Apart from that good work that's pretty much the look I'm going for.

I like the idea... maybe you should add the imperial guard shoulder pads/armer (with a weathered/rusted look) and some left over straps etc..... Yeah, I say redo the paint job (it's a little too green) may be just some drybrushing and highlights... are you gonna try and do like a zombified army ? if so, try to have different shades of deadness and random leftover Guard stuff like helmets, flack armer bits etc...

Check out Dawn of the Dead (with Sahara Polly) and or 28 days later.... for paint scheme ideas.

But still, great idea and cool model


Oh and don't forget the models "motion" or 'stance' which is important... it should be stupified, drunk-like, broken up and not very purposeful... ie: they are not going to hold a las gun proper and trained to the eye (since they might not even have eyes).
