My first attempt at NMM, so C&C are welcome. I've tried to get a dull bronze effect on the armour so i can save the brighter golds/silvers for character models when i've practised the technique a bit more. The colour scheme isn't set in stone yet but i really like the way the turquoise contrasts with armour and will probably keep it!

Would hate to comment... Because the pics are blurry.
Could you get some clearer images up?

Blurry pics or not, I think this is a really dramatic color scheme. The colors remind me of weathered copper ... and the robes bring in the real blue-green patina.

The armor on the back looks a little too orange but that may just be due to the camera flash.

Nice Job !!

I really like the colors, though the pics are a bit blurry. From what I can see, the paint job looks great though! Try to get some sharper pics up for us

The blurry Pics: yeah they are fine for a generalised opinion. Which is the figure looks pretty good.
However the thread asked about the NMM effects used. Which you can't see clearly in the pictures

Apologies for the blurred pics. I only have my phone camera working at the moment; i'll try to borrow a proper one tomorrow!

Just finished the head and the pistol.
