i think it looks nice so far
from what i can see, the face seems to have come out rather well

VERY nice highlights, The face looks well done as well, although it looks like the golden freehand insignia needs a bit of work

The Face is the focus i think, so i was working at it harder then at the armorparts... for example.
Yes... the Hammers of Donr insignia is very hard to paint... and freehands in this size are hard, too.
When hes done i will post him again.

How do you do the sword ?

Okay... i will try to explain^^ dont be worry bout my english

1. Basecoat of very thinned out boltgun metal.
2. Glazed with thinned out chaos black. Then the thin stripes with chainmail...

You did an excellent job on the face! Definately Heavy Metal quality there. I love the beard and the blue iris on his right eye...amazing!

The armor and gold need a bit work on building up the highlights to more of a gradual blend if you want to get the rest of the model to the same quality as the face.

Great job on face. The focal point is always the face. Do a great job there and rest can be forgiven.

Yeah, the armor isn´t already finished yet but i will make it today! I hope i can post today so i can show you the finished Terminator. Maybe i can begin at the Commander... At this point i have a question to you all.
I want to give him a power fist. Should i paint it golden or black?

The SB arm need more motion to it. It just seems to hang on that side while the sword arm seems to be more aggressive.

But he has no hammer...

The Hammers of Dorn are a Chapter who was born after the horus heresy... take a look at the lexicanum. The Hammers were created for a trading card game... shadow of the warp.

Why a hammer... this termi is just a terminatorchampion.
My Termicommander will have a Hammer...

Wow i'm doing Hammers of Dorn too. But mine do not look nearly ar nice as yours. I am basecoating with CHaos Black an and then wahed with a badok Black. The drybrushed with a Chardon Granite. The I use Darwven Bronzen with a wash of devlin mud. Yours look awsome.

Lets hope the release more fluff soon, im in the process of having custom decals made for my army

wow, it was long time since i was posting... unfortunately i wasnt working on my hammers in the last few months.
But now i am very motivated lets see whats coming next!
