Alright. I'm not sure if this counts as painting and modeling.

I've been working hard on a concept for a necromunda board. I have a good deal of experience making terrain tables and I have some friends (and an X-GW employee or two) on my side to build this thing.
The idea is to make 16" modular squares, each with 3 catwalks per side, 2 at 2.5" and 1 in the middle at 5". there will also be building pieces that connect to one another, making them usable is going to mean a hell of a lot more battle damage than is shown in the renders.

I've been building pieces in google sketchup to get an idea of what kinds of pieces we want to build, especially for the extremely important first 9 pieces to make a usable 4x4 table.

So here's a taste of what I've been making and some boards you can throw together with the pieces....
(I know most of you are going to say something to the effect of "I'll believe it when I see it" and I'm skeptical myself, but considering what the lot of us have done in the past, I think we can pull it off)

Well, most of it will be foamcore, so it wont be that expensive. At least not compared to what you'd pay for premade/GW stuff. On the other hand if you factor in opportunity cost of spending as much time as I expect to on this the theoretical price soars.
