this is my first list, ive just got a bit of money for my birthday so i would like some help further refining this list

Well, don't post individual point costs, they are intellectual property of GW.

The list needs improvement. You need a solid core of troops, say 10 Tacticals, 10 Scouts, and a maxed out Bike squad.

always keep a cc weapon on your dreadnought, without it, it's just a really expensive firing platform

Remember not to add in the points cost of a unit or there wargear. Games Workshop likes to thrown upon us and our evil ways.

I'm guessing you want a 1500 point list, yeah? Well, you're still a bit short of that. I'd start by adding options...always take Melta Bombs on a seargent, for example. Next, I'd always upgrade a Dreadnaught's Storm Bolter to a Heavy Flame, especially if you intend for it to wade in to combat, but that's a person preference.

I personally don't like Land Speeders very much, as they tend to fall to relatively light fire. You may wish to consider dropping it and getting something else. Another tactical squad won't hurt. You can never field enough troops, especially in games for objectives.

Another choice is to upgrade some of your command squad. Power Weapons and Storm Shields will make them a truly devestating close combat squad, but they are points heavy.

And I'd upgrade the Heavy Bolter on the Attack Bike to a MultiMelta.

am I? i must really suck at mental arithmatic, how many points have i got left?. Only my flame heavy dred was intended for combat, my shooty dred was meant to just sit there and blast the crap out of heavy support.

I like land speeders, they can kill hordes or heavies

i thout about it but ive got korsoro khan in with them. master of the hunt, oh yeaah

not on a horde killer squad, i dont intend for it to go against a tank, plus it diminishes the range of death i can deal
