I'm following the female =][= sculpt with much interest. It's always difficult for me to tell exactly what a greenstuff conversion is going to look like until it has some paint on it, though. Are you at all worried that the SM backpack is a little large on her frame? Maybe it's just the angle, but it looks like it goes from the top of her head almost down to the back of her knee.

Binding the Inquisitor's hammer shaft:

the_Armyman wrote: Are you at all worried that the SM backpack is a little large on her frame?
A little, yeah. Waiting to see how it looks once I finish bulking out the armour, but I may wind up needing to cut the pack down a little, or sculpt a new one in a similar style, but slightly smaller.

Started filling in embiggened Marines' leg armour:
Automatically Appended Next Post:
On the jetbike, I filled in the other side of the eagle head, cleaned up the earlier filling, and finished off the detailing on the first side:
Started on the rider's weapon arm:
This was a standard power axe arm, with the axe cut off. I drilled through the centre of the axe handle with a 1mm drill bit, and then with a 1.5mm bit (the handle is only very slightly thicker than that, so using the smaller bit first helps when you want to drill right through without ripping it apart), and inserted a length of aluminium rod.
And nearly finished the 2nd wing:

Filling the gaps under the feathers on the jetbike's wings, to give it a slightly more finished and neater look...
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Starting in on the Flyrant's weapon arms...
Since the wings take up a shoulder socket, the weapons have to be condensed slightly.
So, single-armed Barbed Strangler:
Twin-linked Devourer:
Twin-linked Deathspitter:
No filling or anything yet, obviously. Just initial assembly to check fit and design. There'll be another each of the Devourer and Deathspitter arms, a slightly modified Venom cannon, and of course the Scytals...

A little more on the Inquisitor's hammer...
I've also been tinkering with her leg armour, partly to add detail, and partly to strengthen her shins a little, as they're a little fragile... They're quite thin and the metal is softish, so I'm trying to make sure she's as durable as possible.
Pics shortly...

I cut into the lower joint of the tyrant's right leg, so that I could extend the lower leg out a little straighter:
Also did some careful bending on the tail, looping it over on itself so that it twists and extends out behind the tyrant, instead of curling around the legs towards the front:
The end result being a flying lower torso (of doom!):

Tyrant got a bit of a pain in the neck:
Removed the bottom end of the neck so I could extend it slightly, as the head doesn't tip back far enough in the neck socket.
Took the torso sides and drilled out the arm sockets ready for magnets:
Drilled right through the central torso section, and ran a steel rod through from waist joint to head:
Assembled the torso and glued the magnets in place:
So held together, he looks roughly like this:
Oh, and started in on the sculpting on the Scytal hands:
