Hi there, back from schooltrip to Barcelona and had some rest

Gonna purchase a squad of firewarriors at the end of this week, anyone got some idea's for making them sort of unique and perhaps some small conversions?
Gonna post them when I've got some work done.

Greetings

I am using the same color scheme as my battlesuit

Hrm, I'll give this a try. I feel like your paints are a bit thick and inconsistent.

You should thin them with water until they are a bit thicker than milk. You are probably going to have to do several coats of the yellow to make it show up vibrantly, but make sure you get a good solid color. Also, I like the effort made to do the black lining, but I think you are going about it wrong in some areas. Try out the GW washes and look up the "edging" highlighting technique. Both of those will help your tau out a lot.

Good luck, yellow is a bitch.

@CenArtDamage

Thanks, yeah i know my paint is very thick. Specially the Yellow. I'm doing a couple more tomorrow with better lightning(working with a small light right now:().

Also i'm getting a marker to do the lines more straight. But I'm really eager to get a heavy battled army cause I'm fond of the Tau, but not the pristine fabric one's.

Thank You for your Comment

More C&C welcome^^

Looking good I love the whole battle worn effect you got going for you. As stated above thin it a bit and youve hit the target my friend

Allright, Thanks for the C&C! Keep it coming

Here some updated pic's.

Also ordered a Devilfish online so this will be coming soon. My army won't grow very quick simple because I'm not that wealthy I'm working on a armylist so keep an eye on that.

For now C&C please

Greetings from Holland.

where ever Eldrad is...

I agree that the paints are a little thick, but otherwise I like the scheme, and the models are great. yellow is a pain to paint, I usually base with an orange, though GW does have a yellow foundation paint, and those are the bomb.
