I am thinking about making an army of Zombies that are currently running rampant on the Death World of Catachan. What do you think?

Dont say the Zed-word, but definitely make some zombies.

Well...the new Ork boyz are only good in close combat on the charge, if they are in combat already they are strength 3 ... also you can no longer have burna boyz in boyz mobs, the choppa rule is gone, meaning that the massacre of power-armored foes has now been cut, and you cannot have an awesome uber bodyguard for your really cool mega-armoured warboss any more. I could make a full list of the cons, but I'm too tired. Obviosly there are some good things, but I'm dissapointed by the new Codex.

First off,pertaining to Catachan zombies,yes, do it,zombies are just pure win.
Secondly,I have a "mixed"agrement with you concerning the new Ork codex,sure we lost a few cool things (the loss of burna boyz in boyz mobz & choppaz forcing 4+ saves on power armour in particular),I also miss Skarboyz,however the new codex is still full of coolness&lots of great unit opptions.
Also,the "uber bodyguard" opption still exist,as you can easily attach your Warboss to a Nobz sqaud.

I know nuffin about the orks, so no complaints there.

As for Catachan Zombies, put me down for "Very yes".

It will be 100% awesome and made of "win".

Zombies are always good fun. Specially if your nutz and make a million of them. Then that calls for some hardcore gaming.

As for the New Orks... Psshh I kill SM just fine. Anything to make it easier would honestly be to damn easy.

I have decided to rip off left 4 dead and model tanks, boomers and such. I will probably use big mutants for tanks and boomers and god knows what for hunters and smokers. I will still use GW bits so that the person i'm playing against(not in a tournament or in a store) will let me use them.

I did a Lost and the Damned army a few years back that featured Catachan, Cadian and Steel Legion zombies. I'm going to resurrect it as an IG army now that they got the shiny new Codex.

Amazing idea. If you cast three or four different types of zombies then you can just whip up a bunch of them and off you go to post apocalyptic battles with the fun twist of aliens. I want to see tyranids and zombies ripping each other apart. Also who would win in that battle.

the Fact that you would " beef up " your Warboss "bodyguards" tell me that your warboss is a sinking Smeging cowrd who is scard of getting a little bit of blood on hez suit he hes" there are reasons why orc's have lost a lot of things gain little for the fact look at points per model it was just silly the last games event I went to 90% of them was orc and 10% nids I was the only IG player and what was worse was I won 5 out of 6 games just by using my template tanks ( god I love Baneblades and Russ )

the Undead is a ok idea if you want to make a cheap chaos army but there is a reason why there is no undead in 40K mate its not Warhammer this is Warhammer 40 K !!

No sinking dwarfs or scaly lizerdmen just pure Guard !!
