Hi there, my first piece of terrain(large) and I could really use some comments and critics. Note that the tree's are getting a brown color, but I haven't got the time to do this.

I'm looking forward to your reactions.

Actually it is made from Ironwire coverd in tape, some glue + sand and voilá.

More C&C is welcome

Is it meant to look like . . . a crash site or something
If thats the look your going for i'd add some more scattered debris (blackened pebbles or chunks of something) and also darken the sides of it, the whole burnt soil effect

Definatly a good piece though. Looks like a butt load of stic grass heh

paint the splintered wood, and add some smaller branches to the blue tree things.

Looks very nice... I would agree with putting either more debris on the opposite side of the trees or removing some of it so the entire things looks a little less cluttered on one side. Paint job is very nice, stones and flock are excellent!

everythings great. apart from the trees. they stick out alot and if you look at a real tree they split alot lower down. plus if the bark of the tree is blue then the splintered wood will be a similarish colour. otherwise great.

Looking good so far, just one thing though, the engines are on upside down on the fish. Apart from that its a good WIP

It is not meant to be a crashside, just a opening in a hill where people could shelter or get a camp.

Looks great! I like the hills seems like you could have a good ambush on it, or unload your guys to a higher ground, (tau and their skimmers...)

Well, perhaps less brush to begin with? Maybe take out some of it, paint up the wood and cover it with moss to give it depth without taking up too much space?
