I have never realised that this company designing and marketing tiny plastic and metal miniatures, (formed in England in the 1980s by some guys living in Shepherd's Bush who didn't get out enough) is in fact a part of a horrible conspiracy by THEM to brainwash small children into remorseless killing machines. Is it really working though? I see lots of kids playing with the evil pseudo-fascist Space Marines when I go to a GW store in town (sorry, that's a nefarious indoctrination centre in town) and they just don't look that dangerous. When I recruit an army to take over the world, the brainwashing program shall include more physical conditioning. Still, I'm glad that I've been warned before I go through a city killing civilians remorselessly. I'll go burn my codex and rulebook now.

And as far as turning our teenagers into killing machines - no offense (I was one too, now a bit older) have they looked at who uses the stores. If I was putting an army of killers together to be honest wargamers of any description would be pretty low down the list of ideal recruits.

Just a few days ago, I found an interesting link in a German forum, where someone postet how some guy once tried to have several GW publications banned due to "glorification of violence". He quoted from the 3rd edition Ork Codex and GorkaMorka and then there is of course this minor detail that Commisars look a bit like Nazis

It was all official and stuff, he brought this up to the German institution for youth-endangering media but they said it's okay, because it's all part of a game involving socialising, modeling and a rule book "too complicated for younger children".

You've cited moral panic and then /reported someone for alluding to violence stemming from religion/the bible, do you not see the clash of interests there? That was overkill IMO, you do not endear your cause to others by sledgehammering anyone who questions it, that's what those angry extremists did about that cartoonist portraying Muhammed.

As I understand it, Christians turn the other cheek. The action of your report seems somewhat hypocritical when considered against the Christian recommended course of action and the nature of this thread...
